DESCRIPTION:TIn case yo missed last one\, this is our second and final one for the year most likely.\nWe do this one every year. Let’s see the critters before they depart for the spring. Seals should be around today\, if not too windy – theyr’e fussy that way I’m told. They don’t like to rest when there’s a lot of waves due to the wind. End of March should work. We’ll meet at parking lot at 67 Hartshorne Drive which should say “Seal Parking.” Also can use parking lot at Post Chapel across street at 35 Hartshorne Drive. There should be a porta pottie nearby but use Lot B bathrooms on way in to be sure.The Mule Barn close by has bathrooms and the Lighthouse area.We’ll do a walk exploring the proving ground and village and lighthouse area and a nice beach area with some ruins and great views of Sandy Hook Bay. Then we”ll look for seals & subs Afterward we’ll head over to the Mule Barn Tavern for lunch for those interested. DESCRIPTION:This was great in past years and being repeated. \nYou can eat outside if you prefer on their beautiful patio weather permitting. \nWant to stick around the area or not able to meet your family or interested in cooking?\nWell come join Our EME family at Our House for a great full buffet served to you by their friendly staff inside their spacious banquet hall which we can take to our own room or outside if we want.\nLet’s get stuffed and also support this great place and owner\, one of my favorite restaurateurs who apprecites our support during covid. Their food is excellent. \nDid I mention its a full buffet – Yes\, it will include turkey\, ham and roast beef carving stations and hot dishes as well as pasta\, salads\, desert and coffee all included. It’s regularly $39.99 & tax and tip + + tax = $50.00 for adults but $45 or perhaps less for us if we bring 12 or more. Alcoholic drinks extra of course.\nITS FULL PRICE AFTER THE RSVP DEADLINE AND YOU MAY NOT BE SEATED WITH US SO DON’T WAIT UNTIL LAST MINUTE FOR THIS ONE \nPlease bring cash.
