DESCRIPTION:One of the nicest parks and most popular parks in the county. We’ll do the Ramanessen Trail loop – its been quite awhile. Nice rolling hills and meadows around this creek with views of Foxhollow Vineyards. \nMeet at the Main Visitors Center. Go thru main entrance then make your first left. \nBring the usual water & bug spray and perhaps a hat. Boots or hiking shoes best. Poles may help some. \nAfterward\, we’ll lunch at Toscanella Village Cafe\, close by. DESCRIPTION:Lets celebrate our 28th dinner here and continue to support this great charitable org. founded by Jon Bongiovi and wife Dorothea and which not only has tasty food but helps feed others. \nIts become a top rated restaurant and attraction in Red Bank. \nDue to this and staffing & other reasons our large group of 30 we usually bring can’t be accomodated for dinner so Instead we’ll bring smaller groups more frequently.\nhttps://www.jbjsoulkitchen.org/ \n“JBJ Soul Kitchen normally serves a 3-course meal based on American Regional cuisine\, starting with your choice of salad or soup\, followed by a choice of entrée such as fish\, meat or a vegetarian selection. The meal is finished with a freshly made dessert. Many of the dishes are made with fresh\, organic ingredients from our garden or the JBJ Soul Kitchen Farm.” Soft drinks included. The volunteers are great – you won’t find better service in any 5 star restaurant. I brought some friends once and the waitress\, business owner even baked and made some chocolate covered pretzels for the patrons.
