3 mi. Sandy Hook Beach Seal n Meal Walk #2

We do this one every year. Let’s see the critters before they depart for the spring. Seals should be around today, if not too windy – theyr’e fussy that way I’m told. They don’t like to rest when there’s a lot of waves due to the wind. End of March should work. 
We’ll meet at parking lot at 67 Hartshorne Drive which should say “Seal Parking.” Also can use parking lot at Post Chapel across street at 35 Hartshorne Drive. There should be a porta pottie nearby but use Lot B bathrooms on way in to be sure.
The Mule Barn close by has bathrooms and the Lighthouse area.
We’ll do a walk exploring the proving ground and village and lighthouse area and a nice beach area with some ruins and great views of Sandy Hook Bay. Then we”ll look for seals & subs Afterward we’ll head over to the Mule Barn Tavern for lunch for those interested. WE will leafe at 10:05 so be on time.
