4.7 mi. Cheesequake Park, Great Eats After

I h, Cheesequake Park where the trails are covered with cheesecake. Not really so we usually provide some free cheesecake before when you arrive to celebrate the free parking after Labor Day.
We’ll do my Green and Yellow and lake route today.Β
Meet at the Lake Parking lot in front of flagpole (see photos)
NOT AT THE TRAILHEAD PARKING LOT – NOT ENOUGH ROOM THERE USUALLY. Follow road past trailhead lot and bear left toward lake (see above photos)
There’s also porta potties available and perhaps the bathrooms will also be open
There’s a 1.8 mi. option if you are out of shape or otherwise as the 4.7 mile one has significant hills and steps.Β Mostly well maintained wide trails with roots and some hills and one spot needing to walk on logs to cross. Steps on some of the hills.

As usual, bring water, bug spray, and another snack if you want. Boots always best. Poles may help some.
Afterwards, anyone intersted can join us at Evans Restaurant closeby. Nice greek owners and full menu at fair prices.
