Great 4+ mile Walk and Much More at Cherry Blossom Festival, Branchport Park, Newark by Train
Let’s check out this famous,Β beautiful event which I’ve never attended though in my hometown. Its crowded and we’ll avoid the parking issues and take the train and light rail right to there.
We’ll explore the park’s nice trails and take in the large variety of japanese cherry trees – the most in the USA.Β This wsa also the first county park in the US.
There’s food there and restauraants in area for lunch and live entertainment

We’ll take the 9:13 Am north jersey Coastline out of Red Bank (check schedule for your location. Red BAnk has free parking all weekend) which arrives at Newark Penn Station 10:22 Am then we’ll take the 10:31 AM Light Rail which gets to Branchbrook Park at 10:45.
