Thompson Park 2.5, 4.8 mi., Great Lunch Too! Lincroft

This park is a good choice due to recent rains. It has both wooded and paved trails avaiable.  The resrevior trail drains fast but if soggy we;ll do mostly paved trails.

Lets re-explore this popular, scenic 667 acre park which has a reservoir, lake and 13 miles of trails and is home to the county park system and adjacent to Brookdale Community College. https://www.monmouthcountyparks.com/page.aspx?Id=2539

We’ll meet at the 2nd parking lot (Old Orchard) which is on the left side of main entrance road. See map below. those wanting to only do aobut 2.5 miles, meet at Marlu lake parking lot at 10:20

We’ll do part of the reservoir loop thru scenic well maintained wooded, level trails. Wear hiking boots or shoes and bring water. Poles helpful to some.
