4.6 mi. hike, Clayton Park, Wine N Dine After, Upper Freehold

According to the park system, Clayton is “one of the most beautiful parks in the Park System, the property is known for stately stands of red and white oak, beech, ash and birch trees.” It has nice rolling hills and a pond and creek. Imlaystown downtown is 2 blocks long and interesting to say the least.

We’ll do about 4.6 with option for about 3/4 mile less.  Bring the usual water and bug spray. Poles helpful for some.

Afterwards we can visit Roys Deli close by. They have fair prices, good food, fresh backed muffins and scones and do a great job and are nice to us.

Afer lunch we’ll head to Cream Ridge Winery, also close by for their tastings and some music. Bring a chair if want to sit outside. They have an air conditioned room wher you can enjoy your wine and any snacks. Their berry wines are the best anywhere including blueberry, apricot and cranberry.

if still bored can visit a brewery or the Roost also close by for a beer snack and possible band.
