Approx. 12 mi. Bike trip to Manasquan, Lunch and More!

Time for another bike trip however instead of cruising down memory lane we’ll go down the lanes of the Edgar Felix Memorial Bikeway (rail trail) which runs from Allaire Village to Manasquan.
We’ll meet at Community Park in Wall and do our trip from there.
Park in the municipal lot across from the playground. ( See photos). From main entrance it’s .19 mi. on right. From Bailey Rd. Entrance it’s 1st lot on left.

We’ll head down to the boardwalk of Manasquan first making our way thru Brielle,  including a stop at a local pub with nice views and conitinuing over some nice bridges as well as an offroad side trip along the Manasquan inlet on some grassy trails. Wear your bathing suit under in case you want to take a dip.  We’ll end up at either Riverside Cafe or Tacoholics/Playa Bowls/Gee Gee’s Deli – your choice. There’s also ice cream for those so inclined.
Total trip is around 20 miles including another short side trip on the return. We should be back by around 1:15 or so.
